foto_andrea_grilliBorn in Bologna, Italy in 1978 Andrea Grilli was highly insecure about what he wanted to do at the end of high school. He aspired to become an astronomer but chose something more profitable. He studied computer science and completed a master in logic. Andrea interest in photography began when he was about twenty during the first years at university. Since then photography has gained an important part of his life. This is because photojournalism is an effective way of understanding how he sees reality, a way to know the world and to communicate with others. With this perspective he attended a number of courses and workshops, among which a master class in photojournalism given by Sandro Iovine at John Kaverdash School in Milan and workshops on ethics of photojournalism, where he met photoreporters Francesco Zizola, Bruno Stevens and Monika Bulaj."
