The Last Forest

Mozambique has had a big area of forest. Today this area is decreasing quicly due to the hight level of deforestation. The cause of the deforestation or several: the fires used to create agriculture areas, the ones used for illegal hunting and of course the cut of the tree for the wood industry. The number of Chinese wood buyers multiply in the last year but they are not directely responsable for the big deforestation occuring, in fact the real cause are the lack of clear laws and the hight level of coruption between the officers that should control the forests. A detail of a bole illegally cut and confiscated by the authority.
