She began to feel different from other boys at the age of 8 but only at age of 20 she left parental home and went to São Paulo, where she would make the changes in her body. Raíca walks on the street while waving a handkerchief to a potential client who has just passed. To "meet" clients in this street, she must pay a commission to a woman who runs it.
