Berlin - Workers Day Demonstrations

01/05/2015 – Berlin, Germany: A crowd dances electronic music in Kreuzberg during the “Myfest” street festival. “Myfest” takes place in district SO 36, the traditional centre of riots that usually occur during May Day celebrations and it was organized to decreased the violence caused by Revolutionary May Day Demonstrations. The radical left wing criticises such events claiming that it is pretended to pacify social conflicts and to ban radical demonstrations. The International Workers Day is a celebration of laborers and the working classes that is promoted by the international labor movement, anarchists, socialists, and communists and occurs every year on May Day.
