Economy - Mozambique, Beira's Harbour

The city of Beira has one of the biggest ports of Mozambique. Beira´s port is a point where are constantly coming and going goods; the importance of Beira's port increased especially in the last years, since the multinational company "Vale do Rio Doce" started to extract coal in Mozambique. In fact, the multinational decided to use Beira's port to export the coal and are now building a new dock, in a bigger size - half of the size of the whole port for the shipping of the coal.
